Classless?

Another year another rivalry game finished. Though people aren't talking about BYU's victory. They are arguing over what Max Hall said. Now Max is mad because of what some Utah fans did to his family last year, and I can't blame him. If my family had to get a police escort to keep people from spitting on them and pouring beer on them. I would be mad too. It's especially sad because this is coming from the winning team. There are sore winners I guess. Though is the whole university this classless? I have lot's of friends who are upset about this comment. Even after Max Hall issued an apology. Oh well I don't care that a couple of Utah fans said they hate BYU. This stuff goes on every year. Though only one person issued an apology. Go Cougars!!

  1. I am just tired of hearing about it. Everyone knows there isn't much love on either side and I've heard similar things from Utah players, just not in that forum. Besides, there are more important things going on in the world like four dead police officers in Washington and the problems in Afghanistan. Still all we hear about is Max Hall and Tiger Woods. Glad everyone has their priorities straight.

  2. I think that game showed Utah's weakness. A wins a win.

  3. I don't think The Ute fan's behavior was acceptable. Likewise I don't believe that holding grudges is appropriate or healthy. Max Hall can think or say whatever he wants. The fact that he said it publically is what the fuss is about. Had he said it in the locker room or in his home it wouldn't have been as big of a deal. It is our choice to be to be offended but that doesn't mean that a person should go around trying to offend people. I hate to succumb to banality but, "two wrongs don't make a right." I think Max Hall's "Apology" showed an effort to leave the ugliness behind but how sincere are "Official Apologies"?
