Stage 1

So I have began tabbing out the music for the songs I've written. I have been using a program called powertab. I'm hoping to get at least 10 songs done this summer. We will see what happens. Writing them is one thing, putting them in them in the computer is another.

Summer of Music

So not only does not school for the summer mean more time for a social life. I'm hoping that I can use some of my spare time to finish some of my songs. I have a lot of half written songs. I need to just spend some more time with them. Now that I have a laptop, I can tab them out a lot easier. It's going to be good. I'm hoping I can find a way to record them. We'll see what happens in that sense, but I will finish the writing process.

"Facebook" Faceoff!

So I have noticed that I spend way to much time on Facebook. I don't even know why. It's not even something that changes that often. So It is my goal to go 3 weeks with out Facebook. If that works I'm going to go the rest of the summer. It sends notices to my E-Mail when someone sends me a message. Why do I need to check it so often anyway.

Background mix up resolved!

So I have this sweet background image I made in Photoshop. I made it to the aspect ratio of my screen at home. Since there is no way to make the image adjust size for different screens in CSS, I decided just to adjust the alignment so that the image was centered, those of you with smaller screens viewing this blog, it's a little cut off on the sides. In the future I hope to find a way to make it do what I want. For now this will have to do. At least you can read it now.

"I Disapear!"

So have you ever been listening to a song, and had to listen to it over and over. I don't get those moments very often, lately it's been "I disapear" by Metallica. It came up on a playlist on my IPod, and now I keep listening to it over and over. Sometimes songs just appeal to us at certain times. I found myself listening to that song on repeat to and from work, and singing along. Kinda weird I know, but oh well it's a good song.
